On Saturday 14 November at 11 am, the Archipel de Thau tourist office takes visitors behind the scenes of the Théâtre de la Mer, the open-air summer stage set in the remains of 17th-century Fort Saint-Pierre on the Corniche and normally closed off-season: military and cultural history and Sète identity. From 17 to 20 November, Sète's Théâtre Molière launches "Cette mer en moi", a new event devoted to world and Mediterranean music, with concerts, round tables, exhibitions and an original creation. The opening ball on 17 November is free, and a final Occitan music concert takes place at the Piano Tiroir in Balaruc-les-Bains.
On Friday 27 and Saturday 28 November at 8 pm, the Théâtre Molière presents Molière's "L'École des femmes", directed by Robin Renucci, with François Morel as Arnolphe. Premiered at the Château de Grignan in June 2026 and co-produced by the national stage. Ages 12 and up, 2 hrs, €8 to €35.
On Tuesday 17 November from 3 to 4:30 pm, the Béziers Méditerranée tourist office opens the doors of the Théâtre des Variétés, a newly restored Belle Époque gem where Édith Piaf, Maurice Chevalier and Mistinguett once performed, from cabaret revues to boulevard comedies. €9, €7 reduced and children, free under 6; booking required.
What to do this weekend? Autumn & half-term
On 6 and 7 November, Sète's Michèle-Weil university centre hosts the first Jeu & Écologie Festival, devoted to games that help people understand environmental issues. After a day for professionals, Saturday is open to all, with activities, game discovery, an escape game and meetings with designers.
On Sunday 8 November at 9:30 am, the Sète Urban Trail, "le Défi du Mont Saint-Clair", starts from the Esplanade Roger-Thérond. Four formats between sea, lagoon and hill: 20 km, 13 km, 8 km running and an 8 km walk, open to all levels. Online registration.
On Thursday 12 November, to launch the book of its collections, the Musée international des Arts modestes hosts an evening at Sète's Comoedia cinema with its founders Hervé Di Rosa and Bernard Belluc. At 8:30 pm: three previously unseen short films, two by Jonathan Paquet and one by Vincent Di Rosa. Optional visit of the MIAM from 6 pm ("Adrien Fregosi – Les Moyens du bord" exhibition).
