On Saturday 10 October, from 10 am to 9:30 pm, Place Max-Rouquette beneath the aqueduct arches becomes a big artistic playground, with work by painters and illustrators, concerts, live painting and free creative workshops. Free entry, with food and drinks on site.
On Saturday 10 October 2026, from 10 am to 9:30 pm, the Clap'Arts Festival sets up on Place Max-Rouquette in Montpellier, at the foot of the aqueduct arches. The organisers bill this edition as "Clap'Arts 2.0", with a largely refreshed line-up.
Under the arches, a new selection of visual artists, painters and illustrators shows their work, while others paint live throughout the day. A new brass band kicks off the middle of the day at noon, and a revamped stage hosts concerts and performances by local bands and talent.
Visitors are not just onlookers: free creative workshops let children and adults try their hand at making art. Food and drinks are available on site.
Entry is free. The site is served by tram lines 1, 4 and 5, Peyrou – Arc de Triomphe stop.
