20 September–18 October across the Hérault. Free week in Montpellier 21–25 September, then paid concerts county-wide — including Angélique Kidjo at Opéra Berlioz on 11 October.
For its 6th edition, the festival run by the Théâtre des Variétés offers four concerts in four venues in central Béziers from 1 to 4 October, blending classical, opera and Mediterranean music. On the bill: “Les Huit Saisons”, pairing music and painting, the Iberian evening “Noche de Oro”, the interactive show “Puccini, Pub ou Série ?” and the one-man show “Va voir à Naples si j’y suis”.
From 2 to 4 October, the Volovent association opens the festival with a night flight of kites and illuminated gardens on Friday at 8pm. Over the weekend, Spanish and Italian teams give artistic and acrobatic displays, alongside musicians, a batucada, clowns and workshops; entry is free.
