Béziers
For its 6th edition, the festival run by the Théâtre des Variétés offers four concerts in four venues in central Béziers from 1 to 4 October, blending classical, opera and Mediterranean music. On the bill: “Les Huit Saisons”, pairing music and painting, the Iberian evening “Noche de Oro”, the interactive show “Puccini, Pub ou Série ?” and the one-man show “Va voir à Naples si j’y suis”.

For its 3rd edition, this free photo trail displays work by more than 30 photographers in some 20 venues, including the Saint-Nazaire cathedral cloister and the Musée Fayet. A contest also features 15 amateur photographers from Occitanie, and visitors can vote for their favourite.
On 10–11 October, the Scène de Bayssan invites families to a free book-themed weekend with shows, workshops, games, exhibitions and meetings. Highlights include an exhibition devoted to Olivier Douzou and Frédérique Bertrand’s Pyjamarama world.
Closed for years, Théâtre du Minotaure (Salle Berlioz) reopened with inauguration evenings on 18–19 September after three years of works (Stéphane Bern Heritage Mission). Free entry during Heritage Days.
