Lodève (cathédrale Saint-Fulcran)
On Saturday 28 November from 8:45 to 10 am, the Lodévois & Larzac tourist office opens the 57-metre bell tower of Saint-Fulcran cathedral. After 220 steps, this southern Gothic landmark offers a panoramic view over Lodève and its green surroundings. Booking required; €10, €7 reduced, €5 for ages 7 to 18. Good physical fitness recommended.

In the heart of the Haut-Languedoc, the lanes of Olargues host a large market of regional craftspeople and producers, creative workshops and family activities, with hot chestnuts and the Chœur du Jaur choir. A fireworks display lights up the Champ des Horts on Saturday at 8pm and the museum opens over the weekend; entry is free.
From Saturday 21 November 2026 to 29 August 2027, the Musée de Lodève presents "Meteorites, between sky and earth", an exhibition designed by France's National Museum of Natural History and shown for the first time in the south of France. Some forty meteorites from the Museum's collection, including the Orgueil meteorite and the 420 kg Canyon Diablo; visitors can even touch a piece of the Moon and a piece of Mars.
On Wednesday 4 November from 2:30 to 4 pm, a guide shows visitors the Pézenas theatre, housed in the former chapel of the Black Penitents, and the 16th-century quarter built outside the walls, recently added to the town's protected heritage area. Meet in front of the theatre.
What to do this weekend? Autumn & half-term
On Saturday 14 November at 2 pm, the association Demain la Terre ! leads an easy 5 km walk in the Salagou valley to show how rocks and vegetation shape the work of local producers. It ends at the Mérifons farm, which raises red Duroc pigs and presents its trade and charcuterie; booking via the Destination Salagou ticket office.
From 19 to 22 November, the Lutéva venue in Lodève hosts the Artisans' and Designers' Fair, run for nearly 30 years by the Lodévois et Larzac community of communes. Around 60 selected makers show homeware, tableware, fashion, jewellery and accessories.
On Friday 20 November at 6:30 pm, the Clermontais library network offers a reading in Lieuran-Cabrières of "45 ça va", a quirky text by Jean-Claude Grumberg. Meet on Rue de l'École publique. Free, all ages.
