On Wednesday 14 October at 8:30 pm, three musicians from the Opéra Orchestre national Montpellier Occitanie perform Bach's Goldberg Variations at La Tuilerie, in Dmitri Sitkovetsky's string-trio arrangement. Free introduction at 7:30 pm; ages 7 and up, €7 to €15.
On Wednesday 14 October 2026 at 8:30 pm, the Salle de la Tuilerie in Bédarieux hosts the Opéra Orchestre national Montpellier Occitanie for a chamber concert. Violinist Dorota Anderszewska, violist Florentza Nicola and cellist Alexandre Dmitriev perform Johann Sebastian Bach's Goldberg Variations.
Originally written for harpsichord, the work is played here in the string-trio arrangement made by violinist Dmitri Sitkovetsky in 1985.
At 7:30 pm in the foyer, the orchestra's cultural mediator Lila Maréchal gives a free introduction: Bach's life and work, how theme and variations are built, the move from keyboard to string trio, and how the musicians rehearse.
The concert lasts 1 hour 15 minutes and is suitable from age 7. Tickets: €15, €10 and €7, booking on 04 67 95 48 27. An on-site bistro serves fresh, seasonal food.
